LIVE IMMERSIVE SHOW
A unique live immersive experience that invites audiences into a powerful journey of self-discovery and transformation.
In this multidisciplinary, arts-in-service performance, this project uses the expressive arts as a doorway inward. Through music, visual art, storytelling, and reflective practice, Journey to Rebirth invites us to slow down, meet ourselves with curiosity, and reconnect with our deepest sense of self.
Our upcoming performance on August 8th in Camarillo, CA will feature award winning violinist/composer Nathalie Bonin, Ro Rowan, two-time Grammy-winning percussionist M.B. Gordy, singer/songwriter Sonnet Simmons, and special guest renowned visual artist Angela Bermudez, who will will create two original live paintings inspired by the music, offering her own visual interpretation of the journey as it unfolds.

ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE
Journey to Rebirth invites audiences on an introspective journey - one that fosters self-reflection, connection, and renewal. Inspired by composer Layla Minoui’s healing journey through cancer, this immersive performance weaves evocative storytelling with cinematic soundscapes, guiding listeners through universal themes of resilience, transformation, and rediscovery in times of uncertainty. Journey to Rebirth offers an opportunity to lean in, to find strength, purpose, and meaning within both the light and the shadows that shape our human experience. As a film composer and emerging expressive arts practitioner, Minoui seeks to harness the power of music and art as pathways to connection and healing.
THE STORY BEHIND “JOURNEY TO REBIRTH”
“Journey to Rebirth is NOT just about my story. It is an invitations for listeners to connect to their own."
Journey to Rebirth took shape during a period of cascading upheaval. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Layla Minoui was at the breaking point of a relationship and newly navigating motherhood. One month after her separation, she was diagnosed with cancer. With certainty in short supply, she found herself returning to the piano. What emerged was a body of work less interested in resolution than in steadiness, allowing the album to develop as a record of process rather than outcome; one she hopes will inspire and empower others through times of uncertainty.
Layla Minoui is on a mission to expand Journey to Rebirth as a platform for healing, bringing this transformational concert experience into hospitals, community spaces, and venues where it can reach those who need it most.
